Gus Weiderman has had no formal training in the arts, writing, or English other than what he received via the public school system (Mrs. Totter – 3rd grade).
His background is in the medical sciences, which is really, really boring and tedious. Some years ago, his right brain staged a coup on his left brain a number of years ago and gained control of a majority of his grey matter. Soon thereafter, music and writing, having been held captive for years by chemical structures, equations, and an endless number of medical terms, sprung forth from his frontal cortex and became an integral part of Mr. Weiderman’s planetary existence.
As far as Gus knows, Alexis still lives close by. Neither has seen the other since their demise, however. Subsequently, there are no plans for the two to reunite and tour this summer.
